What was life like before SmartPhones and the Internet? Why does it matter? What can our elderly and old fashioned parents teach kids in the next generation and beyond? Is history repeating itself?
Family Treasures is a professional interview and documentary that chronicles the life and times of a matriarch or patriarch of your family. Hear their stories in their own words while leaving a legacy that can be felt for generations! With a Family Treasures interview, we obtain all of those memories and facts that would never be a part of the public record. Using a family member as the interviewer, the respondent is talking to someone familiar and are comfortable. Discussion of that person’s life, family events, special moments, and values that made that person who they are is what Family Treasures is all about. We help to complete the story with pictures and historical commentary around the interview and obtain pearls of wisdom from a lifetime of accomplishment. The experience is tailored to be a fun time going down memory lane.

Mamie Rearden was born in 1898 and lived 114 Years and passed in January 2013. Delphine Gibson of Pennsylvania passed at 114-years. 113-year-old Lessie Brown of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, was the oldest person in the United States, according to the Gerontology Research Group in (2022). All of these beautiful people have passed on to glory.
These are people who have lived through the entire industrial age, every modern war, and many social paradigms. So many years of living amounts to unique and valuable experiences that should be shared! Let us give your ’Me-maw’ and ’Paw-paw’ the Legacy they deserve before they’re gone!!
Give your children, grandchildren, and great, great, great grandchildren the gift of a Family Treasures interview before it’s too late. Every generation forward can meet and learn from living history and we have the technology to immortalize them today! It is a fun and often therapeutic opportunity for a loved one or resident in their latter years!
What We Provide
-
- Full Remote Studio Setup at Your Place – There will be lights, cameras, microphones, stands, cords along the floor, etc. so room for this is required. We can accommodate some restrictions but the more room the better. We will ensure a safe and comfortable an environment as possible.
-
- Research of the Principal (interviewee) – We look for any public record information that will help us in the interview process and final production. We’ll go through some of your family picture albums to use as insets during editing and basically learn as much as we can.
